[net.women] Pro-abortion Crusade

pmd@cbscc.UUCP (Paul Dubuc) (01/24/85)

Well, it looks like Yosi Hoshen has started the flames
on the abortion issue in net.women and net.politics
as well. (See his article "It is about time!".)

I haven't seen any complaints about spreading the issues
to other newsgroups so I'll be the first. You can bet
that when we start getting followups from the pro-life
side complaints will roll.

Some of the responses to Yosi's article seem to be from
people who are not net.abortion readers. Maybe they've
heard all the pro-life arguments they want to, but feel
fine about sharing their opinions in other forums.

Let me ask the readers why net.abortion was created.
Was it to provide a forum for both sides of the debate,
or just a ghetto for the pro-life side?

Paul. I will save everyone some time and complain now.
I acknowledge the fact that no intelligent debating
takes place in net.abortion. I do not think that is
sufficient reason to invade other news groups. Don't
you agree?
