Well, it looks like Yosi Hoshen has started the flames on the abortion issue in net.women and net.politics as well. (See his article "It is about time!".) I haven't seen any complaints about spreading the issues to other newsgroups so I'll be the first. You can bet that when we start getting followups from the pro-life side complaints will roll. Some of the responses to Yosi's article seem to be from people who are not net.abortion readers. Maybe they've heard all the pro-life arguments they want to, but feel fine about sharing their opinions in other forums. Let me ask the readers why net.abortion was created. Was it to provide a forum for both sides of the debate, or just a ghetto for the pro-life side? -- Paul Dubuc cbscc!pmd

I acknowledge the fact that no intelligent debating takes place in net.abortion. I do not think that is sufficient reason to invade other news groups.
