[net.women] Hall/Canzi debate

Ed Hall, David Canzi,

I've tried reading very carefully, but I'm beginning to lose the thread of
your cross-arguments.

David, in your latest posting, were you really saying "who cares?" You
point out that "you can interpret these statistics creatively to support
almost any position" and
>I don't *care* if feminists *ignore* injustices against men. That is
>their right. John Gordon made two assertions that especially interest me:
>1) That women's groups have been *actively* *opposing* efforts to remedy
> some injustices against men.
>2) That women's groups have been *demanding* the implementation of at
> least one new injustice against men.
>This is in an entirely different class than merely *ignoring* men's rights.
and "I don't know what Gordon smokes either. I don't smoke. Does it matter?"

Unless I've really misunderstood Ed Hall's postings, I don't see where you
are going, David. Nothing in the statements above indicate any position
that _you_ have taken. What is your interpretation of the statistics?
What is "interesting" about Gordon's assertions, and why are you avoiding
the issue of court practices on rape trials by making some side issue of
a joking comment? One other question - what (generic) "women's groups"
are you referring to, and what is your knowledge base for your statements?

Ed, if you know what he's driving at, that relates instead to something I
missed in one of your postings, maybe you could clarify.

I'm getting really lost here, and could use some clarification to continue
following your arguments. Thanks. ARegard
