[net.women] who do YOU dress for?

Hi, gang. It's been a long time. (Ref. messages < 1000).
Just thought I'd toss this one in:
I used to dress for the men in my life. ALL of them abhorred makeup,
fancy hairstyles, dresses, heels, etc. "Give me a REAL woman! Not
Madison Ave!!"
Another convert to dressing for HERSELF: I LOVE to play with light
amounts of makeup; love the feel of smooth, silky skin, like the
breezy feel of skirts and dresses.
Also, as it turns out, I have a genetic predisposition toward a short
Achilles tendon, which makes 1" - 2" heels MUCH more comfortable
than flat shoes (which my SO would prefer...), so I've given up the
pain of loafers and clogs for pumps and heels.

I make these comments to point out that we are each subject to our
own brainwashing... and it feels SOOO good when you come to terms
with what's right for you.

It might be a good idea to at least do some stretching for the Achilles
tendons and calf muscles. This would cut down on your chances of
getting hurt if you step in a hole, or go running barefoot on the beach.
