On Monday evening ABC will air the movie "The Rape of Richard Beck" which is listed as follows: A police sergeant is forced to re-evaluate his inflexible attitudes toward brutality, women and his own masculinity when he is sexually assaulted by two men. The announcement regarding the movie aired Saturday evening suggested parental discression with regard to children. I post this because I think there might just be something of value especially to the men who read these groups and have lately found it comfortable to express the opinion that rape is something women can avoid by simply not wearing ***provocative clothing*** and not in other ways laying themselves open for an attack. BEFORE anyone starts their flame throwers watch the movie, think, and if possible reread some of the last months discussions.
