[net.women] Philosophy of Feminism

I'd like to ask some questions of a somewhat philosophical nature about
feminism.
(I know that some people would rather talk about the burning issue of toilet
paper, but really, who gives a shit? :-)
Looking down the line, what are the goals of feminism? Obviously, we want
women to have a "fair shake" - to have access to jobs they can't get now,
to have equal pay, etc. What else? What sorts of attitudes do we want people
to have? At the moment, one goal is to make women feel worthwhile, to be
"happy to be women", to feel some sort of solidarity with other women. Do
we want to keep this attitude in our "utopian" society? What about
individuality? Surely we want to maintain the different cultures in our
society. Or does having different cultures inevitably lead to conflict?
Do we want the same type of capitalistic system? Or how socialistic do we
want society to be? Etc. Etc. On this point, I'm not really interested in
how to get there, just where we're going.

P.S. Obviously, I don't expect everyone to have the same ideas of where
we're heading, but perhaps we can find out what the common ground is.
