[net.women] What's wrong with this picture?

The way I read it, she merely wanted to hurt him.  Too bad she didn't.

One:  Arnie hasn't stolen your clothes, unfortunately.

Two:  Your suggestion is orthogonal to what I considered the brunt of this
discussion:  Diminution of violence against women (qua women) by changing
people's attitudes (societal and victims') and target toughening (escorts,
assertiveness, arms, paranoia).  By the time the legal system gets involved
it's too late, and someone has been damaged.

On one point I'll agree.  You're verbally active, Mr. Winslow.--

What is this supposed to mean? I'm stumped.

I don't disagree with you; I was merely responding to some people's cries
to "lock 'em up for a good long time".

What disturbs me is that you present "Your suggestion is orthogonal..." as
an answer to "What's wrong with this picture?" Are we only allowed to
make points that pass your tests for relevance?
