Yes indeed, the video for this song shows the girl going out with what she thinks is a poor fellow (though the audience knows he's rally the rich head of the studio). The amusing thing is thqt apparently Madonna herself never saw the full video. An interview with her a few weeks ago indicated that she thinks the guy was indeed poor (and had apparently only watched the parts of the video she herself was in). Incidentally, I recently saw the Yankowich video of "Like a Surgeon" and would like to recommend it highly as totally hysterical (even if you haven't seen the Madonna video). --Lee Gold
