> What are > YOU going to do right now, today, to end the Reign of Terror? > > Ginger I'm open to suggestions, Ginger. I'm not being flip, just ignorant. I understand that rape is violence, not sex. I understand why women fear, not only strange men, but men they know, as well. I understand that men and women both have stakes in solving the problem. What I don't understand is where we (men) stand. From the sound of these articles, it's out in left field somewhere. If we can't be trusted, how are we going to work with you to solve the problem? Without knowing where I stand, I don't know what you want from me. You have to tell me. This is not sarcasm; I sincerely want to know. Gregg Mackenzie denelcor!gmack

If you are seriously interested then I would suggest joining or starting a group that sponsors activities aimed at educating the populace or assisting Rape Crisis Centers. A group in the Washington, DC area called Men Against Violence Against Women does just this. Volunteer work is usually available in most areas of the country. Vounteer at a Crisis Hotline Center, a Rape Crisis Center, a Home for Abused Women/Children. Get Active. Sending letters on the net isn't going to solve the problem (although it is a useful tool).
