> >So my question is, `Where do the more serious women >usually go to meet men?' >David Bordeau > Oh, yeah, David, I forgot to mention before -- Try parks, PTA meetings and YMCA's during kiddie-class time. "Serious" women don't necessarily go to those places to meet men, but a whole bunch of serious women can be found at those places, because they were serious the first time around, had kids, and kept custody when they, too, went through their divorce, and now are "serious" about giving their kids what they can. This isn't a shoo-in, of course, since many men and women got married in the first place (and/or had kids) for dumb reasons, but you can safely bet that the women who are trying to hold a job and a family together have become very serious, and have a good understanding of basic commitment and responsiblity. You'd be doing yourself an injustice to limit your "looking" to single women who haven't any children. (Being one myself :-)) As a class, they have many sterling qualities, and are often overlooked. Shopping centers, from 5-9 p.m., are good bets, too, since many women now work to support themselves (and possibly their families) and do their shopping just when the men do -- at night and on weekends.
