Nope.  Do you REALLY know what you're talking about?  I spent one year
(from April '84 to May '85) working as your friendly local burger-builder
at Burger King.  The fast-food industry most certainly DOES have to
abide by minimum-wage rules!  as well as various other restrictive bits
and pieces designed to protect under-age workers.  

I'll grant you, working there is no "piece o' cake".  The turnover rate
is quite high (at the end of my year, there was only ONE manager left that
had been there when I started....never mind crew!)  Many kids are
dissatisfied with the pay, or the way they are treated by management, so
they leave....  Certainly doesn't sound like slavery to me!

<Note:  this was in the USA.  What DO they do to burger-builders in Canada,
anyway?>
