I've got plenty to say but never bother to take the time to say it. Well even the lurkers should say things now and then. Just to let the rest of the world know I'm still alive, here is my $.02. Us Jeff's seem to have reached a similar conclusion. I only wish I had said it. I'm tired of reading net.women only to find that I'm reading what men have to say. I can go to 100 other nets to find out what men have to say! Hell, I'm a man. I could just sit here and talk to myself :-) . I keep coming back to net.women in the hope that the women closely involved with the high technology world, women in a similar environment as myself, will strike up a dialog about issues that interest and concern them, so I might learn something I didn't know or understand. Instead I find bufoons like this guy Greenburg who drive the very people I want hear from off the net. Worse, I along with 90%(?) of the rest of the male population spend a significant portion of our time trying to convince women that we are NOT like, and do NOT agree with men like Ross. I don't know if Sunny ever pointed this out but the one quality men seem to lack is the ability to shut up and listen. Just listen. Even after listening, not to say a word. How many times did you just need to say something out loud? You didn't need anyone to comment. Just to listen. I'm not suggesting that men refrain totally from submitting to net.women. Just that we do more listening. This net is not a privilage FOR women, it is a forum ABOUT women. Who better to tell us ABOUT women and what concerns them then women? Please let them speak without commenting every damn time! Try to just listen for once! Your not relinquishing any damn power to women (people gain power, it has nothing to do with sex, ask M. Thatcher, or I. Gandhi or G. Meir), your just sparing the rest of us your boring attacks on issues your not willing to listen to or learn about in the first place.
