[net.women] A letter I got.

frye@cuuxb.UUCP (frye) (10/14/85)

I got a letter from Elizabeth Zwichy. She saw my advice to Jamie
about wearing pants to avoid static cling(8-). She told me that
it was the material the garment was made of and not whether it
was a skirt or pants that caused static cling. I tried to post
a reply but, the letter was returned. I'm gonna post it instead.
And I won't ask about her burned thighs. I'll assume sunburn,
'cause I've been there(8-).

Go ahead, gripe. Here goes:

	Dear Elizabeth,

I suppose some of my sox are made out of nylon and other
synthetics. That's why I'm tempted to get myself fitted with a
lightning rod(8-). But, I suppose what little trouble I've ever
had is minimal. I can't really complain.

I can see (from watching ladies put them on) that nylons
could be a real pain. And wouldn't they be a *GEN-U-WINE* mess
with sunburned thighs and legs too? For that, I usually wear cut
off blue jeans...

One SO I had often asked me to spray her legs with some
anti-static stuff she found. She'd hold her skirt out of the way
and I'd apply a little "Liquid Lightning Rod". I don't know what
the stuff was called but, it worked and didn't bother her skin.

Thank you for writing. Hope you had a good weekend.

					Take care.
