In LSCHABOT's reply, she asked how many times Willie beat up his wife before she sewed him to the bed. I have no idea but, I guess she was probably more tollerant than I'd have been if I were her. You'd have to ask Willie's ex...It was kinda up to her, at least to some degree. I've posted some pretty wierd stuff in here but, I truly believe a person should stop (by whatever means it takes) someone from mistreating her/him. I may not be much but, I'm all I have. I ain't lettin' anybody beat on this ol' dad. I can't make 'em leave me alone but, I can make 'em wish they had. You can too, even if you have to throw Lewis Lye in his face. Now, don't get squeemish on me! Someone said the best thing to do is leave, I agree. The abuser may not. You gotta make room to get to the door. Kill 'im if you have to to get out through that door. Then leave and don't come back. Life is too short to be gettin' yer ass kicked every time you turn around. It may cost you your good skillet to save your ass but, you're worth it, woman. And, here's hopin' the next time ya get yer ass beat, its in a chess game(8-) Regards, Tom Frye
