A marketing professor here wrote an article in the alumni magazine
in which he commented that surveys have shown that

25% of women put their career first
25% of women put their homes, families, etc. first
50% are about even.

His gist was that current advertising campaigns seem designed to appeal
to one of the two 25% groups and are thus missing the bulk of women,
the largest potential market.

According to USA Today 90 percent of women will have at least one child
in their lifetime.  (Not sure how this figure was arrived at.)

In other words, 50% of us figure we can "have it all!"  A little patience 
goes a long way toward achieving it.
