[net.women] A Love Song

OK, here's the love song I mentioned, it is by a gentleman from
Lenore (sp?) North Carolina named Mike Cross. Imagine, if you
will, a beautiful melody with a happy/sad Irish fiddle softly playing
between verses; not to mention great acoustic guitar work:

	"All for the Love I Can Give"
	-----------------------------

As I went out walking one late lonely night
Looking for something like love,
A beautiful lady appeared in my sight
With a loveliness dreams are made of.
She looked in my eyes and she saw through my mind,
She said, "I know what you need."
Then she took my face in the palm of her hand
And whispered these words to me:

"I will love you completely with all that I am;
 I will love you without restraint.
 I will love you because of the love I can give
 And not for the love I can take."

She pulled me down gently and held me so close;
It was almost a dream coming true.
But as we lay quietly in each other's arms
Something was missing, I knew.
Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said,
"If you want all that love can be
 Then just as I've given myself unto you
 You must give yourself to me."

"I will love you completely with all that I am;
 I will love you without restraint.
 I will love you because of the love I can give
 And not for the love I can take.
 All for the love I can give
 And not for the love I can take.
 I will love you because of the love I can give,
 And not for the love I can take."

I awoke with a start in the depths of the dark
And found it was only a dream.
And I realized as I looked in your eyes
That you were right there beside me.
And we were all linked in a loving embrace;
You and the vision and I.
And I swear by the lesson I learned in my dream
I'll love you like this 'til I die.

"I will love you completely with all that I am;
 I will love you without restraint.
 I will love you because of the love I can give
 And not for the love I can take.
 All for the love I can give
 And not for the love I can take.
 I will love you because of the love I can give,
 And not for the love I can take."

Try "Closer than Yesterday" by Renaissance

As morning greets the night,
Opening my eyes,
I feel that you are close to me,
And yet,
Your heart is time away,
But I can't hold a dream,
That sleeps within my yesterday,
And so,
Comming very close now,
I see my destiny,
Is to make you part of me,
and to hope that you might be,
Pure and Free.

Leave memories on the wind,
Spend moments in endless flight,
helf over by all you mean,
I feel you nearer that darkest night,
Closer now than yesterday.

Hoping for a chance,
To find you loving me,
In the distance, seeking, there I'll be,
In time,
You may come to me,
To fall into the world,
That once we left so far behind,
To learn,
With each passing moment,
As tomorrow comes for me,
In the shadow of my life,
For eternity to find,
The light I see.
