In the spirit of the term "grass widow" to refer to golfers' wives 
(or potheads'?) I offer the world the phrase "silicon widow" to describe
the woman whose SO is a compulsive programmer. Yes, you may indeed
say "silicon widower" if the situation is reversed.

Naah, makes me think of Carol Doda, who recently retired.
