After reading in the New York Times Sunday Magazine of August 21 about Douglas Hofstadter's latest idea on artificial intelligence arising from the interplay of lower levels, I was inspired to carry his suggestion to the logical limit. I wrote the following item partly in jest, but the idea may have some merit, at least to stimulate discussion. It was also inspired by Stanislaw Lem's story "Non Serviam".
