Some of you may be interested in reading Isaac Asimov's article in the latest (November, I think) Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. The article is entitled "More Thinking about Thinking", and is the Good Doctor's views on artificial intelligence. He makes a very good case for the idea that non-human thinking (i.e. in computers and dolphins) is likely to be very different, and perhaps superior to, human thinking.
