[Forwarded from the CMU-C bboard by Laws@SRI-AI.] The Mobile Robot Lab has just set a new record for proven depth capability for a CMU-built submersible robot. Neptune, running under an umbrella taped to its camera mast, operated successfully at depths up to .1" during the recent rain storm.
