We are planning to connect a VAX-11/750 under 4.2BSD to a Xerox Lisp Machine, using ethernet. The VAX hardware is DEC's deuna plus repeaters etc., all standard stuff.. Xerox already comes equipped with Ethernet interface.. Is there anybody out there who has the same setup ?? I would be much interested in hearing about the setup, problems, solutions, suggestions etc., as detailed as possible.. We have not yet purchased DEC's ethernet hardware. If there are any recommendations, it would be much appreciated... thnx in advance.. But software, that is another story. -- Spoken: Mark Weiser ARPA: mark@maryland CSNet: mark@umcp-cs UUCP: {seismo,allegra}!umcp-cs!mark U.S.: Computer Science Dept., University of Maryland, College Park, MD 20742
