From: Jerry E. Pournelle <POURNE @ MIT-MC> I've been interested in LOGLANS since Heinlein's GULF which was in part devoted to it. Alas, nothing seems to happen that I can use; is the institute about to publish new materials? Is there anything in machine-readable form using Loglans? Information appreciated. JEP

[...] The Loglan institute is in the middle of a year long "quiet spell" After several years of experiments with sounds, patching various small logical details (e.g. two unambiguous ways to say "pretty little girls"'s two interpretations), the Institute is busily preparing materials on the new version, preparing to "go public" again in a fairly big way. Does know of anyone currently doing work on Loglan, the artificial language devised by James Cooke Brown? Some years ago the Loglan Institute published a newletter called, I believe, _Loglandia_. Is it still being published, and what is the address of the Loglan Institute (if it still exists)? Thanks in advance.
