net.ai.education would be useful. Who out there listening
can steer me to computer-aided-instruction in freshman
composition, i. e. writing papers, beyond the standard
Writer's Workbench, and similar diction-censors?

What's wrong with net.cse? Doesn't the 'e' stand for education? Let's not over-fragment the net. I suggest "NO" until a good reason comes along. --eugene miya NASA Ames Research Center {hplabs,ihnp4,dual,hao,decwrl,allegra}!ames!aurora!eugene @ames-vmsb.ARPA:emiya@jup.DECNET

"Computer Science Education", which is how our local system describes net.cse, is hardly the same thing as "Applying artificial intelligence ideas TO education".
