I would like to get information on the expert system building tools, available to universities, that cost less than about $2000 or so (preferably free, of course). The target machines would be any of the following: the TI Explorer, Symbolics lisp machine, Xerox Dandelion, SUN or VAX running Franz Lisp under Unix. I'm interested in how they can be acquired, as well as in evaluations on how good they are for what kinds of applications. I'd appreciate any pointers. Thanks! I am interested in what expert system building tools are available for th IBM PC, Xerox Dandelion, TI Explorer, and/or SUN - preferably in the public domain, else for about $1000 or less. I remember that a review of IBM expert system building tool appeared in net.ai some months ago. Could the moderator or anybody else who has this stuff please send me a copy? Thanks very much Mark Klein mklein@UIUC.ARPA
