The Computer Museum, Museum Wharf, 300 Congress St., Boston MA, is hosting a heat in the International MicroMouse competitions, Saturday, 11/23, 11 AM - 5 PM EST. A 16'x16' maze will be explored by micro-processor controlled "micro-mice" robots every half-hour from 11 AM to 3:30 PM in time trials, scoring for for speed and intelligence. From 3:30 to 5 PM the finals of the heat will be run. There will be MicroMice and programmers from England and Japan as well as New England competing. Admission to the competition is included in general admission: $4 for adults, less for children, students, and seniors. The museum exhibits range from early computer relics to state-of-the-art interactive computer-graphics programs for visitors to experiment with. Also on special exhibit currently are the Honeywell Animals and the Byte Anniversary exhibit.
