Research Associate Positions at the
Princeton University
Cognitive Science Laboratory
The newly formed Princeton University Cognitive Science Laboratory is
accepting applications for postdoctoral trainee positions on two projects:
(a) reasoning and belief revision, and (b) problem solving and intelligent
tutoring systems.
The Cognitive Science Laboratory is an interdisciplinary group of
psychologists, philosophers, and computer scientists, providing a rich
intellectual environment and excellent computer facilities. Applicants
should have a Ph.D. in an area of cognitive science, including artificial
intelligence, cognitive psychology, or philosophy. Applicants should send

The appointments are for one year, with a likelihood of renewal for a
second year. Appointments will begin September 1, 1986. Salary will be
