My school requires that you drop a class before the end of the 6th week (of a 10 week quarter). This is a pain since we cannot add a class after the 1st week of classes and taking more than 4 classes is STRONGLY discouraged. Another question for the net... Here at Northwestern University, the Technological Institute (Engineering School) has a 10 week quarter with finals beginning the Monday after the last class. Meanwhile, the College and Arts and Sciences has a 9 week quarter with a "Reading Week" before finals begin. What other schools have (or don't have) a "Reading Week"?
