The concept of not being allowed to visit someone living in the dorms after a particular time (with or without an escort/armed guard/keeper) strikes me as being painful at best. I suffer from major depression at weird times of the day or night occassionally (sp?), and would quite probably not be around if I couldn't go beat on a friend's door at 2 in the morning and say "Hi. Can I hang around for awhile? I shouldn't be alone right now." My question is, how can (presumably otherwise) normal people handle having proffessional (sp?) nurse-maids, etc. restrict their activities like that? (I guess I should mention that I, and many of my friends, are CS-dept related in some way or another, so weird hours are normal.)
