It is indeed dangerous to wear contacts if there is an abundance of large-scale particulate matter in the air. Contact lenses are also contraindicated if the patient works with or near caustic chemicals. In both cases, glasses and safety goggles should be worn. Mark R. Paulin ...decvax!teklabs!tekmdp!markp
