My office mate just found out she needs bifocals. She's heard that other people have had trouble working at a terminal while wearing them -- eye fatigue, blurring, etc. Anybody out there with comments or similar experiences? Send mail to: Mike Lynch harpo!mhuxi!macrev

Bifocals are the pits for working at a terminal. You must constantly look up in order to see the terminal from the lower lens, because the upper part of the bifocals (the distance part) make everything on the terminal blur. I would suggest a pair of single lens for working at the terminal, and if necessary a pair of distance glasses for driving, etc. A much happier choice than bifocals. Rose Hill whwpc!rch
