I wear hard contact lenses. If I put them in early in the morning (about a half hour after I wake up), my eyes will get very irritated. Then if I try to drive, I will usually get a case of motion sickness. Has anybody had this happen to them? Should I have my lenses checked? I have had my lenses about 2 years. On another subject, does anyone know if they have extended wear lenses for people with astigmatism? Does anyone have them? If so how do you like them? While I don't get motion sickness, I have experienced something similar to your response to wearing your hard contacts early in the morning. My symptom is extreme light-sensitivity; I feel like my pupils can't constrict enough and I go around squinting for half an hour or so.
