[net.med] eye coverage insurance

What sort of eye coverage does your company have?
Here at Tektronix, there are two health plans we can choose from.
One is Kaiser, which includes an eye exam and glasses every two
years. The other plan is one where you go to any doctor, and
you are pretty much covered with $100 deductible, then you pay
20% of the bills after that; but this plan does not cover eyes
at all (unless surgery or something like that is needed).
I'm rather surprised that Tek's other health plan does not
cover eyes. More and more people are working on terminals. Some
people are in front of terminals almost all day. Eye exams and
contacts/glasses can add up to be quite expensive. I've thought
of switching health plans for a year to get a free eye exam out
of Kaiser, but I really prefer to choose my own doctors. There is
no doubt in my mind that working for hours in front of a terminal
affects one's eyes, and I'm disappointed that Tek's second health
plan won't cover this.
What sort of coverage do other companies out there have?
