I heard on the news that the FDA had just approved nicotine chewing
gum for use in the US (to help smokers quit). Does anyone have any more
information? I am interested in trying it and have been considering a trip
to Canada to pick some up. If the FDA has indeed approved the gum it should
be available soon here, right?

Nicotine chewing gum will be available in March, but only by perscription. I am sure it has something to do with the tobacco lobby. T. C. Wheeler
