In reply to the question about allergy injections: 1). My allergist also said the cure takes some time, from 2-3 years to show significant changes, and about 80% of those receiving the shots get some improvements. 2). I too am allergic to about anything that can be inhaled, but I haven't noticed any significant adverse effects beyond a little sinus that I never got before. I've been taking the injections twice a week for about 2 months now, so I don't know if this will change with time. 3). If you are getting the shots done at work (usually free) make sure that your doctor gives you a vial of adrenalin along with the allergy serum so that you are sure to have ready access if you should go into anaphalactic shock due to a reaction to the serum. This is not too common, but better to be prepared. I hope this is of some help.
