[net.med] interrelationship of vitamins, etc...

Does anyone know of a good guide explaining which needed substances
have what effects on usage of others? For example, I heard that
vitamin C isn't too useful if you don't have a decent amount of
some particular B vitamin in you. (I don't know the validity of that)

Before thorazine(sp?) was used in mental institutions,
many of them used a concotion of;

                    500mg vit C
                    500mg Folic Acid ( vit B )
                    500mg Niacin (the real Niacin)

This will put you in a very relaxed state in about 15 min.

If only two of the above are taken not much happens,
execpt the ususal redness associated with Niacin.

This might be a good example of vitamins producing
a certain effect when used in conjunction with one
another.

Are you sure about the folic acid?
That dosage is 125,000% U.S. R.D.A.!
