[net.med] Diet or A/O?

leung@acf4.UUCP (09/21/84)

Ok folks, since half of you say that A/O combinations would kill me and
the other half say it won't and that I'll lose alot of weight, I've decided
to throw in my own observation on diets and hope that some one out there
can suggest something that works.

First of all here's the diet.

Breakfast: one bowl of cereal (grain or fiber of some kind) with skim milk
one or two cups of coffee, sweetner and no milk

Lunch: one whole thing of 1% cottage chees (16 oz. I think retails $1.19)
one or two cans of TAB (the new kind)

Dinner: Tuna fish salad - includes tuna fish (wow) packed in water
                                    2 tbls mayo
                                    lettuce
                                    some cheese
                                    onions

Snacks: cereal or fruit

Plus I work out 3-5 days a week at our gymnasium here at school for a minimum
of 1.5 hours. The workout includes extensive weight lifting with maybe a mile
or two of jogging on the roof (weather permitting).Yet....

I have yet to lose any weight!!! I am still 200 lbs. 36 inch waist and
5 ft. 9.5 inches tall! I think I am fat (due to excessive eating a few years
ago) and have been unsuccesful in losing it. Sure, lots of you don't think
that diet without excersize will help, I'm living proof it don't matter.
I envy my friends who can eat and stay thin, as for me I'll go on with this
diet (it's been 1 year so far) and hope for the best!

Signed,

Can't wait to see it go!
