Well I went to the doctor yesterday. I still have only 20/30 vision, which is just where he wants it. (thats FAR sighted now, not near!) As the eye heals, it will go more towards near sighted, so he has me using drops to slow the healing a little so when it is healed, the vision will be 20/20. He told me that the swelling in my eyelid was very unusual. He thinks that it occured because on the depth, length, and number of incisions. My incisions were deep because the younger you are, the more likely that the eye will go back to it's original shape. Since I'm 23, he needed to really flaten my eye, so that it couldn't go back. Overall, I'm pleased. It's strange to see without correction. The doctor couldn't be patting himself on the back more. ("Look at that sematry", "Those incisions look nice", etc.) He shows me off to anyone who will look. (Quite a few people won't look at it through the scope) By the way, the reason my vision changes so much is that I don't know how to be farsighted. My eye has a hard time focusing. This problem will go away when my vision gets to 20/20. -------------------------------------------- Brian Millham AT & T Information Systems Denver, Co. ...!inhp4!drutx!review
