[net.med] No 1 Killer

suhre@trwrba.UUCP (Maurice E. Suhre) (03/13/85)

This net has been sounding too much like net.flame to suit me.

Seriously, remember that we will all die of something (at least
given current technology). Hence there will always be a number
1 killer (or an n-way tie for first place, n=2,...). As various
diseases are brought under control (even if partially), the
killer rankings are going to shift. Also, better diagnosis
or autopsies may change the stats.

My point is don't be shocked by the media scare stories about
a number one killer!

a la Ann Landers, sign me "from California" (hee hee)
