*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** Hello again! I haven't had as much response to my original query, but there have been some interesting issues raised One person said that he/she saw no reason for an employer not to hire me, as long as I didn't miss more than the typical 10 days a year due to illness. Unfortunately, I am sick a lot more often than that; basically every little bug that goes through Reed College gets me, and I usually stay sick for a longer time. I think this is connected with my diabetes, because since I moved off campus and stsrted taking better care of myself (i.e. with regards to diet), I have been sick a lot less. But I still get knocked out for long periods of time. THhere isn't a lot I can do about this, except go to bed immediately when I get sick. Am I doomed in the employment market because of this? I'd say that 20 sick days a year would be my minimum. Any ideas should be sent to tektronix!reed!thoma. Thanks, Ann Muir Thomas "I'll be mellow when I'm dead!" weird Al via Tony F.
