I'm seeking advice for a relative (woman, late 60s) who has been having severe problems with both arthritis and bursitis. Since she has tried several MDs, who have given her the usual assortment of drugs (without much success), I'm especially interested in hearing from those who know of successes with "non-conventional" treatments, such as acupuncture, nutrition, or exercise. References to magazine articles or books would also be appreciated. Please mail directly to me, and I'll post a summary.
