The following question is being asked on behalf of a nameless friend of mine. She would like to know if there is any real evidence that use of CRTs while pregnant can cause birth defects. Several articles have appeared in computer journals indicating that this might be true. She wanted to know if anyone had seen these articles and remembered where they had seen them. Please post your responses to net.med or send mail to me, which I will forward to her. For anyone who is really curious as to why I am posting this article rather than her, it is because she is pregnant (NOT me), but does not wish this to become generally known yet.
