I have recently been commissioned by the Einstein Quarterly Journal of Biology and Medicine to write an article on Medical applications of computers. If anyone on the net has heard of, has used, or has written any interesting computer/medical application, I would be interested in hearing about it. This is one of several conferences on the subject each year. Some of the best programs (AI) often don't present at SCAMC. There are also two good journals on the subject. The names are similar (computers in biomedicine, or biomedical research), but the one edited by Homer Warner is the best. Several laboratories, including ours, are devoted entirely to AI in medicine applications.
