[] As a medical layman, I read the recent articles on holistic medicine with some interest (but not the "vested" kind). I like the "holistic" idea, and if Dr. Stoll had said less about it I would have been more receptive. But when he tells us "Rabies is psychosomatic", I start remembering lessons from my high school days. Like - in eighth grade science, a big point was that scientists test their theories by experiments. And in tenth grade English, we spent some weeks on the subject of "Propaganda," and learned that an article does not necessarily prove the claims made in its headline - critical reading is necessary. Well, as we all know by now, his article didn't prove that rabies is psychosomatic. This particular theory is not borne out by this expaeriment. Even if I had dropped out of school after tenth grade, I would still have learned enough to see through Dr. Stoll. Regards, Chris -- Full-Name: Christopher J.
