Now that all of you bright people have set me straight on the vitamin problem :-), how about addressing the sugar issue? Tell us about glucose (which the brain needs), sucrose (which is table sugar, right?), fructose (in fruits, right?), et al. Are people who contend that table sugar is bad for you (why?) correct in saying it's okay to use honey? What's the metabolic pathway for the various sugars and what are the good and bad side effects of consuming various sugars? Have at it! -- Gary Knight, 3604 Pinnacle Road, Austin, TX 78746 (512/328-2480). Biopsychology Program, Univ. of Texas at Austin. Please disregard my earlier request for a debate on the relative merits and demerits of sugar. I understand the oldtimers still have scars from the last sugarfest! I'll think of something else I want to know later! -- Gary Knight, 3604 Pinnacle Road, Austin, TX 78746 (512/328-2480). Biopsychology Program, Univ. of Texas at Austin.
