It pisses me off to see people use high-altitude Xray/Gamma ray
dose levels in cities to justify environmental contamination by
nuclear reactor/processing plants!

We're talking about radioactive iodine, and other isotopes, that
get concentrated in milk, meat, and plantlife. The same process
that concentrates it milk and meat also concentrates it in various
parts of the human body.

When long-decay radioactive isotopes become part of the food chain,
the long term effects result in increased cancer rates and other
life-threatenning (and usually terminal) diseases. It takes years
for these isotopes to filter-out of the food chain (and into the graveyards).
These issues are not the same as the "equal to one chest x-ray per year"
crap that is dished-out when nuclear accidents happen...

This is great stuff! My favorite follows (not that you should care):

>>> In Kiev, let alone the West Europe, the dose received in the
>>> first four days was about 300 millirems, or roughly the dose
>>> recieved by citizens daring to live in Colorado for a year....

Let them try 4 days of urinating that which would ordinarily be discharged
over a year.

If you don't like that example, how about stuffing 365 days' electricity...

"Don't play stupid with me, I'm better at it than you are!"
