HOORAY FOR NET.GRAPHICS! I have been looking through a fair amount of literature for good multibit graphics boards, with color capability. Two manufacturers that struck my fancy were Matrox and Ikier, both of whom make Multibus boards. Matrox has a 512 x 512 x 4-16 board called the RGB-GRAPH. They have just recently come out with a 2K x 2K x 4-16 superhigh resolution board capable of displaying 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, and others, called the GXB-1000. 1280 x 1024 x 4. Has anyone used any of these boards? I understand that they all use the NEC 7220 chip, and so are a dog to interface to, especially if one wants to do anti-aliasing. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience with either these or other 512 x 512 x 4 boards or bigger. Ken Turkowski {ucbvax|decvax}!decwrl!turtlevax!ken
