Last year I heard that NYIT (New York Institute of Technology)
was coming out with a feature film that
consisted entirely of computer generated images.
The clip they showed at SIGGRAPH '82 was dynamite.

Has anybody heard anything about it lately?  I would like to see
it.

They've been talking about The Works ever since I've been going to
SigGraph.  The story I heard was that the clip they showed last year
was all they had, and considering how much film it takes to produce a
feature length movie, I would say we have a long wait before we see it
in the local theatre.

My apologies to NYIT if I have the story wrong.  NYIT is usually pretty
much on top of graphics, and I think that if anyone can do it, they
can.
