There were entries in the makefile, but no sources. The names were "gin", "gout", and "grapic". Does anyone know what these do? I suspect that they are utilities that Bell didn`t want to release with ditroff. Also, "ideal" has a filter program to generate UNIX plot format files, but there seems to be no such beast for "pic", although from looking at the source, it doesn`t look like it would be hard to have pic generate either plot format files, or the same output format as ideal. Has anyone written anything to provide this feature. Or is that what the missing sources provided? Tony Andrews pur-ee!tony
