                         CALL FOR PAPERS
                     Graphics Interface '84
                    Conference and Exhibition
             28 May -- 1 June 1984, Ottawa, Ontario

Graphics Interface  '84 is the tenth  Canadian Conference devoted
to  computer  graphics  and  interaction  techniques,  and is the
oldest regularly scheduled  computer graphics conference in North
America.   Now  an  annual  conference  and  exhibition, Graphics
Interface  has  established   a  reputation  for  a  high-quality
technical  program.   The  1984  meeting  will  be  held  at  the
University of Ottawa, May 28 to June 1, 1984.

Contributions  are  solicited  describing  research  results  and
applications  experience  relating  to  the  following  areas  of
computer graphics:
    
    Office Automation                  Image Processing
    CAD/CAM                            Interaction Techniques
    Computer-Aided Building Design     Image Synthesis
    Computer-Aided Engineering         Geometric Modelling
    Videotex                           Robotics
    Geocartographics                   Dynamics
    Graphics and the Arts

A 1000 word summary is due by November 15, 1983.  Authors will be
notified by  January 1, 1984.  The full  paper is due by February
29, 1984.

material elsewhere, a summary  is sufficient for inclusion in the
proceedings.  This  conference is being held  in association with
the National Computer Graphics Association, the Ottawa chapter of
the   Canadian  Information  Processing   Society,  the  Canadian
Man-Computer  Communications   Society,  and  other  professional
societies.
