I have an IBM PC with a Tecmar graphics master, and a Toshiba P1350 printer. I am interested in displaying text on both the monochrome monitor and the printer while in graphics mode. I am doing this "just for grins." Does anyone know where I can get "standard" character set information, or any idea how to go about turning a (for example) 18 by 24 pixel array into a character? My artistic ability is just about nil, so "get in there and draw one" isn't a good response. I have heard of a "Hershey book" of fonts, but I have no idea what is in it or how to obtain it. I believe it is out of print. Has anyone done anything like this? -- Roy J. Mongiovi. Office of Computing Services.
