<...> To: uab_cs!ramer Sincere apologies to graphic-ers who are not interested in this stuff...I could not find the path to uab_cs to send this mail directly. I have connected a number different monitors to a 125 with sucess. What you need to do is 1) Have a monitor with RGB input and separate sync input. It should be a standard 525-line monitor (like regular TV). 2) Connect the RGB output from the 125 to the RGB input, and the monochrome composite output from the 125 to the sync input 3) DO NOT TERMINATE THE SYNC SIGNAL AT THE MONITOR. Most monitors have a switch which says something like 75-ohm or nothing. You want nothing for the sync. This is not the traditional right way to do it, but the 125 seems to like it best that way. I have typically used a Barco GD33, but I have also used larger Barco monitors, projection TVs, etc etc. Burns UUCP: ... {decvax|allegra|ucbvax}!decwrl!rhea!dvinci!fisher ARPA: decwrl!rhea!dvinci!fisher@{Berkeley | SU-Shasta}
